 ELECTION CENTER: Dems vs. Reps

The Party Platforms Say It All

There are two main parties that currently win elections: the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. They have vastly different views on parental rights, the homosexual and transsexual agenda, abortion, education, crime, taxes and the size of government.

There are also several minor parties which are principled on conservative or liberal issues.

When you vote on Election Day, you nearly always have a choice between a Democrat and a Republican. Therefore, it's vitally important to read the party platforms to know where they stand on the issues. Vote on the issues.

Reading the party platforms will help you know the difference between most of the candidates and what they believe.
