Get Active is where you put in action what you know needs to be done. This is where Campaign for Children and Families helps you impact your community, your state and our nation. Because active citizens are needed now more than ever!

As Theodore Roosevelt, America's 26th President, said: "Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat." 

Get Active has four main sections:

1. The Action Center will direct you to the battles of the greatest current need, by providing you with:

• Current alerts for California and the nation on issues and legislation that need your immediate attention.
   
• Official petitions for you to sign to place measures on the ballot for citizens to decide.
   
• Pro-family and anti-family bills at the state and federal level impacting children and families.
   
• A directory for contacting lawmakers to urge them to support or oppose bills affecting children and families.

2. Claim Your Rights will help you overcome fear and ignorance, and empower you to stand up for your moral and family values anywhere you are in the public and private sector.

3. Protect Your Kids is designed to help parents raise and educate their children, and guard them from anti-family indoctrination in the schools and culture, and from physical attack on the streets.

4. The Election Center is designed to educate you before and during each election, to help you make a difference in shaping better government.
