Bill could make textbooks portray gays positively
CBS13 Sacramento

Fireworks are expected to fly at the State Capital building as homosexuality and school textbooks take center stage.

The Campaign for Children and Families plans to protest the passage of two bills headed for the Governor's desk. The bills would require school textbooks and activities to show homosexuality in a positive light.

The organization says it would negatively impact children in all public schools. Governor Schwarzenegger vetoed two similar bills last year.
