 PHOTO ALBUM: CCF's Valentine's Day Rally, Feb. 14, 2005

Campaign for Children and Families led the 2005 effort to stop  the California "gay marriage licenses" bill, introduced in the California State Assembly and coauthored by over 25 Democrat politicians. CCF's weeklong statewide media tour, Feb. 14 to 19, from Sacramento to San Diego sent a strong message to liberal politicians: "Keep Your Hands Off Marriage."

The photos below are from CCF's Valentine's Day marriage rally and news conference at the State Capitol.
On this first day of the 6-day California tour, CCF news conferences were held in Modesto, Stockton and Sacramento. At the end of the day, CCF's rally was seen on many TV stations in Sacramento and the Bay Area, while CCF President Randy Thomasson did a live TV debate with two homosexual men on NBC-TV 11 in San Jose.

CCF's "Keep Your Hands Off Marriage" Rally united pro-marriage citizens on February 14 at the State Capitol.

CCF's Asian spokesperson on the marriage tour, Spark, rallied the crowd. The 9-foot banner reads: "Democrat politicians keep your hands off marriage. Voters know marriage is only for a man and a woman. Oppose the Democrats' 'gay marriage licenses' bill."

Speaker Craig DeLuz represented the black community and addressed the energetic pro-marriage crowd and the major media in attendance.

After leading the Valentine's Day rally at the State Capitol, Campaign for Children and Families President Randy Thomasson spoke one-on-one to several media outlets.

Sacramento media that attended the rally included Channels 3, 10, 13, 40, Univision 19, Capitol TV News Service (feeds news stories to stations statewide), KFBK radio, Sacramento Bee and others.

People of all ages were on hand to cheer the sacred institution of marriage and the special love between a man and a woman.

Serving as CCF's Spanish spokesperson, Danny spoke to Univision at the rally, reaching Hispanic TV viewers with a powerful message of truth.
