PHOTO ALBUM: CCF's Marriage Tour, Feb. 15 - 18, 2005
Campaign for Children and Families' six-day 2005 "Keep Your Hands Off Marriage" statewide media tour woke up Californians through substantial TV, radio and newspaper coverage from more than 60 media outlets. CCF dramatically exposed the Democrat politicians’ anti-voter, anti-marriage bill, AB 19, which would have forced homosexual “marriage” licenses upon every county and community in California. These photos are from Day 2, 3, 4 and 5, which saw 10 CCF news conferences in the Bay Area, Central Coast, Central Valley, Greater Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.
Uniting for Truth: Led by CCF President Randy Thomasson, the "Keep Your Hands Off Marriage" tour united white, black, Latino and Asian Californians, representing diverse people groups that voted overwhelmingly to protect marriage for a man and a woman. |
| Not A Civil Rights Issue: At CCF's Indio news conference, Rev. Carl McPeters, former president of the Coachella Valley NAACP, speaks in no uncertain terms that homosexual "marriage" is not a civil right and cannot in any way be equated with race or skin color. |

Reaching Hispanic Voters: CCF's Latino spokesman Danny Ramirez, a Democrat, reached more than a million Hispanics -- through several appearances on California Spanish-language TV stations, and on CNN's nationwide Spanish-language radio. |
| Speaking to the Masses: CCF President Randy Thomasson proves to the media that marriage is only for a man and a woman. The pile of microphones means that California Central Valley residents saw and heard about AB 19, the Democrat politicians' homosexual "marriage" bill, on TV, radio and newspapers -- in both English and Spanish. |

Taking It to the People: Reaching an estimated 3 million people through over 60 media outlets, CCF's 15-city "Keep Your Hands Off Marriage" news conferences directly touched people's hearts and minds in their homes and cars. |
| A Powerful Message: CCF tour speaker Craig DeLuz tells the media that unlike his black ancestors, practicing homosexuals were not enslaved, directed to different drinking fountains, or told to take a seat in the back of the bus. |
Defending Nature: Outside Governor Schwarzenegger's office in Los Angeles, Randy explains how AB 19 would delete "a man and a woman" from California's marriage laws. The replacement languate would be "two persons." Taking a photograph is La Opinion, the West Coast's largest Spanish-language newspaper, which ran a story the following day. |
| Reaching Asian Voters: CCF's Asian speaker Spark Gau was surrounded by Chinese newspaper reporters in the Bay Area and Los Angeles, reaching an estimated 500,000 Chinese readers who read about AB 19 for the first time. |
Standing Tall: In Orange County, local citizens stand in support of CCF and proudly hold signs. Their chant, "Democrat politicians, keep your hands off marriage," was heard that day on KNX Radio, LA's largest all-news station. |
| Face-to-Face Lobbying: Campaign for Children and Families and pro-family citizens sit down with the district chief of staff of Democrat Assemblyman Tom Umberg of Santa Ana, telling him that Umberg's "undecided" position on AB 19 goes against 70 percent of his district, which decisively voted to protect marriage for a man and a woman. |
A Strong BiLingual Message: Speaking in English and Spanish, whether the sun was shining or the rain was pouring, CCF's Latino spokesman Danny Ramirez continually blasted the Democrat politicians for pushing homosexual "marriage" upon Californian families. |
| "Keep Your Hands Off Marriage" Banner: CCF's nine-foot color banner said it all. This powerful, pro-marriage message was seen on TV and in newspapers. |
Media Quotes: CCF's black speaker in Los Angeles, Keith Hardine, community affairs director at CURE (Coalition for Urban Renewal and Education), talks to a reporter after CCF's Feb. 17 news conference. |
| Exposing the Democrats' Bad Bill: CCF's Randy Thomasson on TV exposing how the Democrat politicians' AB 19 utterly violates Proposition 22, which reads, "Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California." |
Keeping Prop. 22 Alive: CCF's Lancaster news conference was held in front of the mural of the late senator Pete Knight, an aerospace pioneer and the official proponent of Prop. 22. | View more CCF photo albums here
