Pro-Life Snapshots: Walk For Life West Coast 2007

San Francisco -- More than 25,000 men, women and children marched for the right to life for unborn babies on January 20, 2007. The 3rd Annual Walk for Life West Coast drew people from up and down California, including Campaign for Children and Families President Randy Thomasson, who took the candid photos below. It was a sunny Saturday as 25,000 pro-life citizens came in buses, cars and BART to call for an end to death by abortion in America.	Pastor Clenard Childress of LEARN stirs the crowd by calling the abortion deaths of 40,000+ American babies genocide.
More than 200 pro-abortion activists stood on the sidewalk protesting the pro-life walkers. This confused young man, complete in costume make-up, extends a condom package as part of his mistaken message of "choice."	Little Haley and her mother, Dori, display their powerful message for all who will see it (many of them viewing it right now). Haley, not too many years out of the womb, is another "survivor" in the era of Roe v. Wade.
Joining the parade of pro-lifers was a Lutherans for Life chapter, exercising their faith to "rescue those unjustly sentenced to death" (Prov. 24:11).	Carrying signs reading "Women deserve better than abortion," pro-lifers fill the Embarcadero to capacity as they head toward Fisherman's Wharf.
For the last decade, there's been virtually no parent who hasn't seen an ultrasound of their baby in the womb. Now these parents of three small children are "pushing" the truth!	These folks know that pro-abortion Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco, a self-proclaimed Catholic, is dramatically out of step with the Catholic Church on abortion.
Pro-abortion activists from the Bay Area Coalition on Reproductive Rights are kept at bay by 200 San Francisco police officers, who did a good job keeping the peace.	Campaign for Children and Families President Randy Thomasson was happy to meet up with friends who arrived on buses to boost the biggest Walk for Life West Coast ever.
